{ happy 2012 }

Hi Clients & Fans!

Happy New Year!   May 2012 bring joy, love, peace, health & happiness to you and your family!

I am back to work tomorrow after taking 10-days off to enjoy the holidays with my loved ones.  I will be updating this blog with several 2011 sessions over the next couple months so please stay tuned.

Until then, here is one of my cute kiddos from their nautical holiday session…

{ ch-ch-ch-chilly }

I am writing this post on a nice warm December day.  However this session was from June and it was a c-c-c-cold day down at the beach.   It seems that Mother Nature is a little confused when it comes to California weather.  Molly, now 3, who I last photographed when she turned one didn’t like me nearly as much as she did 2 years ago.   She was not interested in having her photo taken, at all.   I have to say though…I think her unhappy face is still absolutely adorable.    I also got to meet and photograph her cute little brother Matthew for his first birthday.  I just adore his sweet toothy smile!   Despite the chilly breeze and moist air, we still had a fun time.

{ lucky guy }

Yea Mr. C, I’m talking about you!   You are one lucky guy to be able to call these three beautiful ladies yours.:)  Seriously fans, isn’t this a simply gorgeous family?   So fun, loving, and easy to photograph.  I literally could have photographed them for 3 more hours and been totally okay with it.   It is probably a good thing that I didn’t though, because I had a really hard time as it was narrowing down my favorites for this blog sneak peek.  Anyway, without further delay (and babbling)….the sneak peek.

{ 3 + 2 = lots of love}

I simply adore this family .  I have had several sessions with the ‘P Family’ over the last 2.5 years and they are one of my favorite families to photograph.   They were one of my first ‘stranger’ sessions when I started my business back in 2009.   That session was a maternity session when Elizabeth was pregnant with their ADORABLE son, Vaughn, now 2.  Vaughn has got a smile that could literally light up a baseball stadium.    He is also going to be a big brother in early 2012, to TWINS – one boy and one girl!    When I found out Elizabeth was pregnant again, I was elated.   I still am.   I can’t wait to meet the new little ones and photograph them as a family of five!!   Enjoy!!

{ wonderful life }

OK, I have to admit I was a little nervous about this session because it was 17 people.  Oh, and there would be 4 dogs too.  No pressure, right?   Well after the session I realized that it was probably one of the easiest and fastest sessions I have ever had.   The youngest of the group was 6 years old which means that I didn’t encounter any tantrums or resistance.   Don’t get me wrong, I adore tantrum throwing toddlers (who doesn’t?), but this was a nice change.  ;)  Such a gorgeous & super fun family too!    ’Q Family’, I hope you enjoy your sneek peak….
